Tui na

Deep Tissue

Chinese Traditional Therapeutic Massage focuses on stimulating the body's natural healing abilities through various techniques passed down through generations. Tui Na goes beyond the muscles, bones, and joints to work with the body on a deeper energetic level.

Tui na

Deep tissue massage targets deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue to relieve chronic muscle tension and improve range of motion.

Shiatsu & Ashiatsu

Shiatsu is a variation of acupressure; Shiatsu is a finger pressure massage technique that is also found on the Chinese Meridian System. The therapist uses pressure from the thumbs, fingers, and palms along with tapping, squeezing, and rubbing on pre-determined areas of the client’s body. Ashiatsu is walking on the client’s body providing more efficient deep gliding gravity-assisted compressive strokes to conduct the massage.

Acupressure Therapy

Like Acupuncture, acupressure is ancient Chinese medical technique that applies pressure to key points on the body to stimulate energy flow and promote balance, relieving pain and tension.

Swedish Massage

The Swedish Massage technique uses long, relaxing strokes, kneading, friction, gliding, shaking, and tapping to set a chain reaction that produces a positive effect on all systems of the body. The relaxing, light pressure is intended to release the body of unwanted strain and stress, relief muscle tension, enhance and maintain chiropractic adjustments, and improve circulation.

Sports Massage

Sports Massage is a very effective technique that provides sustained pressure into myofascial restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. The intent is to release and promote a more fluid state for the muscle fascia (soft tissue of connective tissue) to restore flexibility and stability of the body and its muscles.

Cupping Therapy

Hot Stone Therapy

Hot Stone Therapy involves the application of water heated basalt stones, of varying sizes to key points on the body. This relaxes muscles sending heat deep into tissue soothing the body. The direct heat allows manipulation with ease and promotes healing with regular massage.
